Vintage BMW’s, triumphs, dirt bikes and Harley’s took the to hills and clay where most of the bikes had really no business being, but damnit if it wasn’t fun. We wrecked bikes, we climbed hills, we jumped everything and we couldn’t help but smile at the reality of the present moment. There were no rules. There was no one yelling to “be careful” or “don’t do that” or really tell us anything. We felt free. We WERE free.

It’s 12:18 AM, and we’re currently 502 miles in on a 1500 mile trip to who knows where, with who knows who for a full weekend of who knows what. Now...

We like adventure. We’d even venture to claim that we love adventure. So when we found out there was a “rentable” ghost town on a split route on our way to Mazatlan, MX... we channeled our inner Xzibit and decided to have ourselves a little adventure with our adventure.

Mama Tried Motorcycle Show is an indoor invitational in Milwaukee, WI that connects motorcycles and builders to fans and riders alike. Keeping the fire stoked all winter long. The Show features over 100 motorcycles from builders of all calibers—flat-tracker, hill climber, chopper, and bar hopper.

We flew into Milwaukee with just a matter of minutes to make it to the BMO Harris Bradley Center for “Flat Out Friday,” an Indoor Flat Track race hosted by Harley Davidson. It had been a mad dash shipping out gear, driving to DIA, catching a plane and snagging an Uber to the show, but we made it. First race was at 5:15 and we hopped out of our Honda Odyssey Uber at 5:03pm. It was cold, it was windy, it was rushed, and we were feelin’ it. Then something happened...

A year ago, we hadn’t sold more than a handful of Go Fast Don’t Die T-shirts, and those were to our close friends and fellow riding buddies around the states....
