If the Enemy's goal for September 11, 2001 was destruction of America - they won that day.
The next day though... they didn’t win.
The next day the country was unified to identify a common enemy.
A nation of individuals found unity in a desire for justice and an intention on fixing what was broken.
The Enemy wanted the destruction of anything that was good and right in our country.
When we engage in divisive communication, when we live with doubt, hesitation, lack of courage, and our actions are rooted in fear - the Enemy wins.
It’s our belief that the best way to honor those we lost and who lost their opportunity to live out the rest of their story is to be intentional in not taking our own for granted.
Terror wins for when we doubt ourselves.
When we hesitate.
When we root our decisions in fear and not hope
When we let anxiety own the gift of our presence.
The fight is on, and is ever-present - that is without question from our purview.
The question is... are you letting the Enemy win?
We honor our dead with our lives. Your move. -GFDD
